Become a Mental Health First Aider!
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the help provided to a person developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

-Increase Confidence
-Increase Skills
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate from Mental Health First Aid Canada.
Date: July 30 and 31, 2025
Time: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Cost: $226.00 per person ($200.00+ HST)

Cancellation Policy:
A refund, less $60.00 administration fee, will be issued when a written request is received 3 weeks prior to the date of the workshop.
No refund will be issued for non-attendance and for incompletion of the full workshop.
Registration may be transferred to another participant.
Should the workshop be canceled by the trainers, a full refund will be issued, or registration can be moved to a future Mental Health workshop.

Mood Walks is a free community program that supports mental and physical wellness through gentle outdoor walks, nature-based activities, and meaningful social connections.
We’ve rented a bus to offer FREE transportation, including pickup from the Cornwall Civic Complex.
Seats are limited — reserve yours early!

Suicide is preventable. Anyone can make a difference.
The LivingWorks’ ASIST program is recognized as the world’s leading suicide intervention workshop supported by numerous evaluations including independent and peer-reviewed studies. The training is available to anyone wanting to apply suicide first-aid skills and be better able to:
- recognize and assist a person with thoughts of suicide
- discuss suicide with a person with thoughts of suicide in a direct manner
- demonstrate and apply the skills required to intervene
- learn about the facts of suicide and dispel the myths
- identify risk alerts and develop a safe plan related to them and
- list the types of supportive resources available to someone with thoughts of suicide
