FRENCH Guardian Network Training

Inviting agricultural businesses and community members who want to be there for their neighbours, family, co-workers, clients, and friends to attend the Guardian Network training. The Guardian Network is a community of passionate mental health advocates that supports Ontario’s farming community. The Guardian Network includes a one-day suicide prevention training and ongoing peer connection and continuous learning for trained Guardians. The role of a Guardian is to reduce mental health stigma in agricultural communities by fostering mental health conversations with farmers who may be in distress and connecting them with appropriate mental health and crisis resources.
