In the Know
CMHA Champlain East branch is excited to offer free mental health awareness training, specifically for farmers and the agriculture industry in our community.
In the Know is a mental health literacy program created specifically for the agricultural community. The workshops are facilitated by one of CMHA’s mental health professionals using real-life examples from the agriculture community. Participants will cover the topics of stress, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders and how to start a conversation around mental well-being.
In the Know is meant for farmers, producers and persons with whom they have regular contact. This may include, but is not limited to, family members, peers and allies in the agricultural industry such as veterinarians, breeders, seed or feed salespeople, financial institutions, accountants or community members who have direct contact with farm owners/operators.
